The above video is public service message from the website TusCandidatos.com. “Tus Candidatos” translates into “Your Candidates” and the website is aimed at informing the Mexican public about any candidate that is vying for elected office. I spoke with the founder of the website Alejandro Reyes and he described the website as a place in which candidates could “claim their profiles and add whatever information they deemed fit” to their profile page. The goal is to provide Mexican citizens eligible to vote with information about each of the candidates, as well as their campaign platforms.
